It all begins with the hardworking local fishermen who rely on the rich waters of Lake Victoria for their catch. These fishermen use sustainable fishing techniques to ensure the lake’s ecosystem remains healthy. After catching the fish, it is transported to our plant by boat, which is the most practical and effective method for reaching our facility, given the lake’s vastness. Once the fish arrives, it is immediately placed in cold storage to keep it fresh until processing begins.

Inside the plant, the fish undergoes a thorough cleaning and sorting process. We take great care to ensure that only the best fish make it through to the next stage. Whether we’re freezing, smoking, or drying the fish, every method is chosen to preserve its natural flavor and nutrients while maintaining strict hygiene standards. The result is fresh, high-quality fish ready to meet food safety requirements and exceed customer expectations.

After processing, the fish is carefully packaged to maintain its freshness during transport.
